When you visit our website, technical information transmitted by your browser is collected automatically. This includes:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Pages accessed

• Referrer URL

This data is technically necessary to provide the website and ensure system security (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR in conjunction with § 1(2) DSG – legitimate interest in the technical provision and security of the website). No evaluation for marketing purposes takes place.

These server log data are stored only for as long as necessary for technical operation and to ensure security, and are then deleted on a regular basis.

If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the information contained in your message in order to handle your request. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures or of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to your request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We store this data for as long as necessary to handle your request and then delete it, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

This website does not set any cookies and does not use any analytics or tracking tools. Consent pursuant to §165(3) TKG 2021 is therefore not required. No automated decision-making takes place (Art. 22 GDPR).

The only automatically embedded external resource is a map (see section “Map (OpenStreetMap)”).

To show our location we embed a map by the OpenStreetMap Foundation (OSMF), St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge CB4 0WS, United Kingdom, on the home and contact pages. When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to OSMF servers so the map tiles can be delivered to your browser. No cookies are set.

Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (Nuremberg data center). On our behalf, Hetzner processes the server log data generated when you visit the site (in particular IP addresses) for technical provision and to ensure system security. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place; processing takes place within the European Union.
